Corsica, the Illyrian Isle of Beauty
May 11 @ 17:00 - 19:00
£25
A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins about the importance of Corsica in the Swan of Europe landscape temple, and how it is part of the Europa and Bull Mystery, from which Europe derives its name.
The Europa and Bull Mystery is another way of describing the Dionysian Mystery – a Mystery that underlies the Christian Mystery, wherein the ascended Jesus, like Orpheus before him, is symbolised as a Swan.
Corsica is known as the Isle of Beauty, a ‘Mountain in the Sea’. It is in fact an island composed of a great mountain range made up geologically of a crystalline western part and a schistose north-eastern part, with a central heart mountain called Monte d’Oro, ‘Mountain of Gold’.
This talk on Zoom acts as a precursor to the Shakespeare Mystery in Corsica hybrid event, Procreating the Beauty of Golden Friendship. However, the talk can be attended by anyone interested in the subject, as well as by participants in the hybrid event.
For those who attend the talk, there will be time for a questions-answers-insights discussion after the talk.
The talk will be recorded, but not the discussion session afterwards.
Cost = £25 per person.
(For those participating in the Corsica Shakespeare Mystery hybrid event, the cost of the talk is included in the hybrid event fee.)
