The Maidens’ Breath & Holy Grail of Illumination

How to work with this rhythm of life that leads to enlightenment.

This weekend workshop in Bad Pyrmont, Germany, led by Peter and Sarah Dawkins, is designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of one of the essential rhythms of life so that you can work with it consciously and increase the good that you can do in the world.

The Nine Maidens, aspects of the Great Goddess, are associated with and explained by the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. They are an expression of the divine law or wisdom of life in terms of the cycle of time as experienced on Earth in its love relationship with the Sun. They are also an expression of the love-relationship we have with our spirit and each other. Behind it lies the great mystery of the Divine Father-Mother, or Wisdom-Intelligence, who in their love-making produce their illumined and illuminating child of light.

Breathing well, physically and spiritually, is part of this mystery, as the Divine Intelligence is described as a holy breath or wind, imbued with wisdom, that moves through the universe. Spiritual breathing is inspiration. The Nine Maidens provide the inspiration required for the nine great steps of initiation taken on the path to illumination, the birth of light, which light is a joy, a delight, a peace profound. It is also knowledge of truth, gained by an experience of the wisdom, which is love – love in action.
