Afternoon Seminar

Peter & Sarah Dawkins
English/German translation by Andrea Leute
A review, with illustrations, of the places, experiences and knowledge gained from the nine-year series of geocosmological pilgrimages in the major landscape chakras of Europe – a series referred to as the ‘Europa & Bull’ pilgrimages and carried out as an act of world service.
The name of the series of pilgrimages, as well as our understanding of the geomantic nature of Europe, is informed by the classical myth of Europa and the Bull, from which the name of Europe is derived. Our researches have shown that the landscape temple of mainland Europe is symbolised by the ‘Bull’, whilst ‘Europa’ is represented by the three lands of Scotland, Ireland and Britain. Each has its own major chakra system, and each of these comprises a landscape zodiac and subsidiary chakra system.
The reason for the choice of this particular myth to be associated with Europe is profound and provides a vital clue as to the role of Europe in the world and how the continent functions as a major chakra of the planetary chakra system. It also indicates how we may successfully develop a Golden Age on Earth and create the light body of the planet.
This seminar, which is open to anyone who is genuinely interested to attend, also forms the start of the Golden Heart of Europe pilgrimage – the final pilgrimage in the Bull of Europe series.
The seminar will be presented in two parts, illustrated with slides:
- Introduction + The Europa Pilgrimages
- The Bull of Europe Pilgrimages
The Swan
Both the Bull and Swan are associated symbolically with the throat chakra. The Bull bellows; the Swan sings. The Bull ploughs the land and sows the seed; the Swan swims and flies high and far. The one is associated with justice and the law, the other with poetry and the arts. Both are needed. The geomancy of the Swan of Europe revealed itself whilst preparing for and carrying out the root chakra Bull pilgrimage last year. During the seminar we will look at what this might mean.
(The mystery of the Bull is contained in the myth of Europa and the Bull; the mystery of the Swan is contained in the myth of Leda and the Swan.)
Pilgrimage as an Act of World Service
Pilgrimage is a very ancient act of devotion. Although carried out for a variety of reasons, pilgrimage has a profound transforming and beneficial effect, as many great religions testify. Pilgrimage carried out with geomantic or geocosmological knowledge and intent greatly increases the benefits. Transmitted through the network of subtle energy that underlies the landscape, the pilgrim’s love energy is magnified and distributed world-wide, with the potential to raise consciousness as well as to balance and harmonise the energy fields of the planet.
