Golden Heart of Europe Pilgrimage

30 May – 6 June 2010

A geocosmological pilgrimage to the great heart chakra and landscape zodiac of Europe, centred on Constance but embracing Lake Constance (Bodensee) and the High Rhine.

This geocosmological pilgrimage will be the ninth and final pilgrimage in the nine-year series of ‘Bull and Europa’ pilgrimages, in which the major chakras of mainland Europe (the ‘Bull’) are being visited in a meaningful sequence. For this final pilgrimage we return to the heart, where we began, so completing the ‘circle’.

This 2010 Golden Heart of Europe pilgrimage will begin at Constance. From there we will visit both ‘AA’ points of the Constance landscape zodiac, at the eastern and western ends of the energy wheel that constitutes the heart chakra of Europe, weaving our way alternately by water and land along the ‘AA’ axis. [Click here for further details.]

Like all other pilgrimages, this is being carried out as part of the science and art of doing the right thing in the right place at the right time, in order to help facilitate the raising of human consciousness and the building of the etheric light body of the planet.

The Bull of Europe
Since the name of Europe is derived from the classical myth of Europa and the Bull, from the geomantic point of view we understand the ‘Bull’ of Europe to be represented by the landscape temple of mainland Europe, whilst ‘Europa’ is symbolised by the three lands of Scotland, Ireland and Britain. In Greek myth the bull is the symbolic incarnational form of the great Olympian god, Zeus, whilst Europa, in the earliest versions of the myth, is a Titanic goddess. (In later versions of the myth Europa is a human – a queen.)

The AA Points & Axis
‘AA’ signifies Alpha-Omega. This symbol has been given to the two points on the ecliptic which occur where the meridian of the Milky Way Galaxy crosses the circular path of the Sun (the ecliptic) through the sky. These are the only points that can be considered fixed in the heavens and so they mark the main axis of the celestial zodiac from which the geometry of the twelve equal signs (sectors) is laid out. The ‘AA’ points mark the cusps of Sagittarius-Scorpio and Gemini-Taurus. Traditionally, when the midsummer sun is on the Gemini-Taurus cusp and about to go into the sign of Taurus, it marks the start of a new Great Age of 26,000 years. Taurus is known as the Alpha sign of the Zodiac. At the winter solstice during this 36-year ‘AA’ period of time, the midwinter sun is on the Sagittarius-Scorpio cusp.

As the Sagittarius-Scorpio cusp is virtually on the galactic heart centre, it means that at the solstices each year, during the relatively brief 36-year ‘AA’ time, the Earth, Sun and galactic heart are aligned. This alignment allows a great burst of creative and transformative energy to come from the heart of the galaxy directly to our world. This burst of energy is traditionally known to inaugurate a new cycle of time and planetary evolution. It tends to be a time of difficulty because of the transformative energies and the readjustment required, but it also a time of great opportunity and creativity.

Our solstice suns are on these ‘AA’ cusps now, as we cross from the end of the old Great Age into the beginning of a new Great Age. However, the creative/transformative energy from the galactic heart is even greater than ever this time, as our whole solar system is moving though the highly energised galactic meridian which, as far as anyone knows, hasn’t happened before.

Landscape Zodiacs
Since the Zodiac is a spiritual Archetype (i.e. divine thought-form), it also manifests on earth, in our world and in ourselves. In the landscape it appears as landscape zodiacs, each one being a pattern of energy that underlies the physical form and which affects us profoundly. These ‘wheels’ of subtle energy are chakras in the landscape. The Constance Zodiac is one of them – a large, powerful one that forms the heart chakra of mainland Europe.

Moreover, since what occurs in the celestial zodiac is somehow reflected in the terrestrial zodiacs (in some way not yet fully understood), the ‘AA’ points and axis of each landscape zodiac are at present critical. We have found that when human beings attune to this and pilgrimage to the appropiate ‘AA’ points and along the ‘AA’ axis, putting love consciousness into them, the ‘AA’ axis of that landscape zodiac comes alive, vibrating in a wonderful and beneficial way like the string of a lyre. The ensuing angelic-like ‘sound’ seems to have a transformative and uplifting effect on human consciousness and the whole environment.

The Great Landscape Temples and Chakras of Europe
As this Golden Heart of Europe pilgrimage is the final one of the Bull of Europe series, the event will also be a remembrance, thanksgiving and celebration of them all, and a looking forward to the future. To do this helps to bring further insights and reveal previously hidden underlying truths. The pilgrimage will begin, therefore, with a review of all the previous Bull of Europe pilgrimages and the knowledge gained from them. This will be presented as an afternoon seminar, illustrated with slides, to take place in Constance at the start of the pilgrimage. Besides pilgrims, this seminar will also be open to others to attend.
