Were the Shakespeare plays written by one person or were they a group effort?
Peter Dawkins gives a personal, informal presentation of the characters surrounding Francis Bacon who seem to have been involved, directly or indirectly, in helping to create the Shakespeare plays. The cast of characters included ladies and gentlemen of the Elizabethan court as well as lawyer-poets, playwrights and actors of the London stage.
These men and women, referred to as the Shakespeare circle, supported the great writing in many ways. Their goal was not just to entertain, but to educate the audiences and create a cultural revolution. Play-goers absorbed new words, a moral compass, political and social ideas, and a national identity.
Question and Answer Opportunity
This seminar will be held in an intimate atmosphere with a question and answer session for attendees. Questions can range on any of the topics surrounding Francis Bacon, Shakespeare, and the founding influences on America. This is a great opportunity to be with one of England's most prolific authors on Francis Bacon and the Shakespeare plays.

Seminar fee: $10 per person.
