Zoence Academy
Zoence Introductory Workshop
The Wheel of Life
Living in Harmony

24 April 2009
Holycombe
Whichford, Warwickshire, England
One-day Workshop
led by
Sarah Dawkins
A one-day workshop introducing participants to the universal law of life as expressed by the Wheel of Life, demonstrating how it both governs and manifests in ourselves, our lives and our environment.
The Wheel of Life is one of the three fundamental Archetypes or energy patterns that exist in and link all three worlds of spirit, soul and body, or nature. Together with the other two Archetypes (the Tree of Life and the Chakra System), which it embodies within itself, it is not only a key to life and the life process but also shows the inter-relationship of time and space.
By creating our own Mandala or Medicine Wheel representing the Wheel of Life, the workshop will show how form, function and consciousness are interwoven with each other, and point the way to how we may improve our own lives and businesses, and society generally.
Venue
The workshop will take place at Holycombe, a beautiful home and retreat set in the ancient village of Whichford in the rolling green Cotswold hills of England’s ‘Shakespeare Country’.
Nestling in a valley, Holycombe has extensive gardens, a lake and a stone circle (modern) standing on a ‘sacred hill’ and surrounded by a moat that once encircled a Norman castle.
Holycombe is 15 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, 12 miles from Banbury (and the M40), 5 miles from Moreton-in-the-Marsh and 3 miles from the prehistoric Rollright Stones. Banbury and Moreton-in-the-Marsh both have railway links to London. (See map.)
